Get to Know: Andrea BattenPlease join us on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, for an opportunity to learn about the differences between men and women as leaders and how our own biases impact our behavior and potentially hold us back.

About the Speaker: Andrea Batten

Andrea Batten is an Employee Benefit Strategist with Gallagher. She has an extensive background in the insurance and benefits industry including experience with local and national carriers, pharmacy benefit management and benefit management for a large University.

A thought-leader in employee benefits consulting, Andrea strategically advises clients on plan direction and development-all with the employer and employee in mind. Andrea believes our clients are our partners and deserve a partnership that asks tough questions in the spirit of high standards and a top-notch human capital strategy.

Andrea is passionate about continued personal growth as well as coaching and mentoring those on a similar path. Ever challenging the status quo, she is inspired by any opportunity to delve into the complexities around personal interaction and culture. She believes in inclusion, debate, and honoring differences – especially relating to women.

Andrea is from the St. Louis area but has lived in Omaha since 1983. She is a graduate of the University of Denver and holds an Executive Coaching certification. Andrea serves on the Board of Directors for the Omaha Chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters and is on the steering committee for ignite!, a first-time symposium for Omaha’s women in insurance. She enjoys volunteering with P4K, spending time with her two children and loves to travel-next passport stamp: Greece.
