Dee Baird is Senior Vice President, Economic Development of the Greater Omaha Chamber. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the six county regional economic development partnership in Omaha including Council Bluffs. Dee’s team focuses on business attraction and retention, talent development, start-ups and small and emerging businesses with an emphasis on women and minority ownership. Over the past 15 years, the Greater Omaha Economic Development Partnership has successfully landed more than 760 projects, representing 37,090 jobs and more than $8.6 billion in capital investment in the region.
Dee holds a Ph.D. and an M.Ed. from Iowa State University and a B.A. from Simpson College.
