Katie Bruno is a female financial planner, small business owner, and community activist. She is on a mission to improve the financial lives of women and empowering them to make smart, thoughtful financial decisions. She enjoys working with women who are faced with immediate financial decisions as a result of life-changing events such as divorce or loss of spouse. Her process is about helping her clients through education, advocacy, and planning.
Katie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Investment Management and Financial Analysis, both from Creighton University. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. Additionally, she holds several securities licenses and her Nebraska life and health insurance certificate.
Katie is a passionate and committed leader in the Omaha community, where you can find her in a number of professional and community organizations including the Omaha Jaycees, Financial Planning Association of Nebraska, Omaha Public Library Foundation, Creighton University Recent Alumni Advisory Board, Toastmasters International, Women’s Center for Advancement, and 100 Women Who Care.
In her free time, she enjoys listening to live country music, cheering on the Bluejays, reading, traveling, volunteering and crafts.
