We hope you will join us for our August 16 networking luncheon. Guest speaker is Debbie Wagers, child life supervisor at Boys Town National Research Hospital. Debbie is a Certified Child Life Specialist. She has 30 years’ experience working with children in hospitals, including inpatient and outpatient settings.
Armed with a strong background in child development and family systems, child life specialists promote effective coping through play, preparation, education and self-expression activities for children in the healthcare environment.
Debbie is recognized locally and nationally as having developed a more child-centered approach to children undergoing medical procedures known as ONE VOICE, which has been implement in more than 200 hospitals worldwide, including five foreign countries.
