Self-Defense: What Women Need to Know to Stay SAFE!
Our presenter is Matt Bentley with Mick Doyle’s Kickboxing and Fitness Center. He will introduce us to important statistics we should know as well as provide many tips for keeping ourselves safe and aware of our surroundings. Matt will round out our time together dispelling self-defense myths we may have heard in the past and leave time for some questions. We are very excited to welcome him to our meeting and leave with a better understanding of staying safe!
About the speaker – Matt “The Bolt” Bentley – Personal Trainer at Mick Doyle’s Kickboxing and Fitness
Currently a personal trainer at Mick Doyle’s Kickboxing and Fitness Center, Matt Bentley has many years of training and experience in self-defense! He’s been a Martial Artist for 23 years, 2nd degree Black Belt in Gan Teora, Purple Belt in Jiu Jitsu, 3 time National Muay Thai Champion, Former Captain of the U.S. Kickboxing Team, Member of U.S. MMA Team, and Professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter with 15 years of experience in teaching self-defense.
